1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services offered by Liebherr Appliance Support & Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our website or services.
2. Scope of Services
Liebherr Appliance Support & Services provides professional diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and component replacement for Liebherr refrigeration appliances, including:
- Residential and commercial refrigerators
- Freezers
- Wine cabinets / wine coolers
- Liebherr commercial refrigeration units
Our services include evaluating and servicing Liebherr appliances for both residential and commercial clients.
3. Service Appointments
3.1 Booking Appointments
You may request a service appointment by phone, through our website, or via other available contact methods. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred time slot, but all appointments are subject to technician availability and routing.
3.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling
To avoid cancellation charges, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
3.3 On-Site Requirements
It is your responsibility to:
- Provide our technician with safe, clear access to the appliance
- Ensure someone 18+ years old is present during the visit
- Share any relevant information (previous repairs, error codes, building access rules, COI requirements, etc.) needed to perform the service efficiently
4. Estimates and Payment Terms
4.1 Cost Estimates
Before any repair work begins, we will provide a written or digital estimate. No additional work or parts will be billed without your prior approval.
4.2 Diagnostic Charges
A diagnostic fee may be charged to determine the source of the issue and prepare an estimate. This fee is separate from repair costs unless otherwise specified in writing.
4.3 Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time of service completion, unless other arrangements have been agreed in advance.
We may accept:
- Cash
- Check
- Major credit or debit cards
5. Service Warranty
5.1 Labor Guarantee
Workmanship on labor performed by our technicians is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of service.
5.2 Parts Coverage
Any parts installed are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty only, unless we explicitly state additional coverage in writing.
5.3 Warranty Exclusions
Our warranty does not apply to:
- Consumable materials (refrigerant/Freon, filters, fuses, access valves, etc.)
- Wear-related parts that fail due to age, misuse or external conditions
- Damage caused by power surges, flooding, improper installation by others, or modifications not performed by us
The warranty may be void if:
- We are not contacted within a reasonable time after you first notice the issue
- You deny us the opportunity to return and perform a warranty repair
5.4 Extended Warranties
If an extended warranty or special coverage is offered in a written service agreement, it may require regular maintenance as specified. Failure to complete required maintenance may void the extended coverage.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
- Food or beverage spoilage
- Cosmetic or surface damage to cabinetry, flooring, or countertops resulting from necessary access
- Property wear or incidental damage related to appliance removal, movement, or reinstallation
Your sole remedy for issues related to our services is limited to warranty evaluation and, where applicable, repair or re-performance of services under our warranty terms.
7. Subcontracting Notice
In some cases, we may perform services as a subcontractor or work with trusted partners. We are not responsible for claims, representations, or warranties made by general contractors, third-party companies, or referral entities outside of our direct control.
8. Revisions to Terms
Liebherr Appliance Support & Services reserves the right to revise these Terms of Use at any time.
Any updates will be posted on this page and take effect immediately upon publication. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
